The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) was founded in 1953 and is a well-known professional organization in India. It focuses on advancing technology in fields like Electronics, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technology. The IETE Students Forum (ISF) offers accessible engineering education, encourages paper publication, provides technical programs, and supports IETE alumni. It has two main groups: an Alumni Association for graduates and the ISF for current students. The IETE was officially launched at Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology on December 22, 2012. Sri. C.D. Malleswar, Scientist at NSTL and Chairman of IETE Vizag, inaugurated the association, with Sri. Abraham Varghese, Secretary of IETE Vizag,were attended the event.

Objectives of ISF:
- Elevating the quality of engineering education.
- Guiding students towards emerging opportunities in technology and innovation.
- Inspiring and motivating students to engage in extracurricular learning activities, such as workshops, projects, and seminars.
- Expanding the student base and corporate membership of IETE.
Activities:
- Organizing and coordinating technical programs, special lectures, workshops, seminars, symposia, and exhibitions to benefit students.
- Providing a platform for students to exchange ideas on technical subjects such as curriculum development, career prospects, higher education opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Facilitating technical visits, project collaborations, employment opportunities, and connections with industries and academic institutions.
- Fostering teamwork, self-reliance, and leadership among student members.
