Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE)

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) was founded in 1953 and is a well-known professional organization in India. It focuses on advancing technology in fields like Electronics, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technology. The IETE Students Forum (ISF) offers accessible engineering education, encourages paper publication, provides technical programs, and supports IETE alumni. It has two main groups: an Alumni Association for graduates and the ISF for current students. With over 550 active ISFs and more than 60,000 student members across India, IETE promotes technical excellence and skill development through events like MAKEATHON..

The IETE was officially launched at Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology on December 22, 2012. Sri. C.D. Malleswar, Scientist at NSTL and Chairman of IETE Vizag, inaugurated the association, with Sri. Abraham Varghese, Secretary of IETE Vizag,were attended the event.

 Objectives of ISF:
