About Lendi Femina:

On ‘International Women’s Day’, 8th March, 2010, ‘Femina Wing’ took its shape at Lendi with the entire female faculty as its members. The vision of the wing is to create a positive spirit among the girl students and drive them towards a right path. We render all our support; counsel them to choose the right decision in times. Every Femina wing member is always ready to guide the student at her critical issues, be it an academic issue or a personal issue. The wing maintains an e-mail account (lendisfeminawing@gmail.com) so that the girl is free to post or discuss any issue if she hesitates to directly discuss. The issue can be solved or a proper advice can be given to her.

In view of the increasing number of girl students in the campus, Women empowerment & Grievance Redressal Cell (Femina Wing) makes every effort to ensure that the girls feel at home. The cell resolves common problems of girl students and also deals with the cases / complaints of sexual harassment and any other type of harassment of the female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the college, if any.

  • The functions of the cell are to safeguard the rights of female students, faculty, and staff members and provide a platform for listening to complaints.
  • The Cell also tries to incorporate hygiene habits and ensure a healthy atmosphere in and around the college.
  • From time to time, the cell conducts seminars and lectures by specialists and eminent personalities about health, hygiene, and building confidence among girl students.
